•Our local Madison School District spent $9,043 tax dollars per student in the year 2022. If you count the district’s excluded costs such as debt payments and construction costs they actually spent $12,173 per student. This is about the same yearly cost as private schools across the nation including most Acton Academies and Montessori schools which range from about $7,000 – $15,000 per year.  

• We believe (and the data shows) that more money spent does not equate to a better education. We also do not believe in the one-size-fits-all approach of the traditional system and refuse to force outdated government grade level standards onto our young heroes in order to qualify for government funding through becoming a charter school. Without the government funding or the substantial tithing support that offsets our local college student tuition costs, some families will find it a large sacrifice to send their children to our Acton even with perhaps the most competitive private school prices in the nation.

• We have great respect for all parents and teachers who sacrifice, as we have, to provide an education experience for their children outside the traditional system – often at personal cost through their time and money. We started this school for our children and are motivated to keep tuition as low as possible but still grow to serve more heroes and provide the tools they need through creative innovation and personal sacrifice.
