Tuition
• Our local Madison School District spent $9,043 tax dollars per student in the year 2022. If you count the district’s excluded costs such as debt payments and construction costs they actually spent $12,173 per student (see data). This is about the same yearly cost as private schools across the nation including most Acton Academies and Montessori schools which range from about $5,000 – $15,000 per year.
• We believe (and the data shows) that more money spent does not equate to a better education. We also do not believe in the one-size-fits-all approach of the traditional system and refuse to force outdated government grade level standards onto our young heroes in order to qualify for government funding through becoming a charter school.
• We have great respect for all parents and teachers who sacrifice as we have to provide an education experience for their children outside the traditional system even at personal cost through their time and money. We started this school for our children and are motivated to keep tuition as low as possible but still grow to serve more heroes and provide the tools they need through creative innovation and personal sacrifice.
Spark Studio (Ages 4-7) and Discovery Studio (Ages 7-11) 2025-2026
$425/month or $400/month when full year paid upfront ($4,000 partially refundable) for Monday – Thursday 8:30-2:00 September – June
$350 non-refundable Onboarding/Materials Fee due upon registration (families will be responsible for providing a Chromebook, mouse, and headphones for Discovery learners)
We are an approved reimbursable class and learning material provider through Braintree, Home ED 360, and Empowering Parents Grant which can help any families willing to meet the requirements of those programs
Tuition and the onboarding fee cover all other expenses including field trips, supplies, and materials
Adventure Studio (Ages 11-15)

Acton Future Builders Team (Ages 10-15)
After-school program open to non-Acton students as well (learn more)
$200/month for 3 hours per week in our STEM lab on guided projects with tools and some supplies provided
*parents may be responsible for supplies used in personal projects and will be encouraged to equip the learner with some of their own tools
After-school program
We don’t currently offer regular after-school programs outside of the Future Builders Team but may provide care until 5:00pm in the future if there is enough need.
