🌅 A Typical Day at Acton Rexburg

No two days are alike — but the rhythm is consistent. Learners own the schedule:

1

Morning Launch

A brief Socratic discussion opens the day. Guides ask questions; learners grapple with ideas. No answers handed down.

2

Core Skills

Self-paced math and reading goals that learners set themselves. Progress is visible — accountability is built into the system.

3

Quest

Multi-week, real-world projects: engineering a product, running a business, solving a community problem, presenting to a real audience.

4

Studio Governance

Learners hold Town Halls, manage conflicts, and write their own studio contract. Adults step back — this is the learners' community.

5

Closing Group

Reflection, appreciation, and accountability. What did you accomplish? What will you do differently tomorrow?
