Your challenge, if you choose to accept It:

Consider these resources and choose at least three to study.

  2. Watch Derek Siver’s Why You Need to Fail video
  3. Unit 3 of the life skill: growth mindset on khan academy.
  4. Read “How Not to Talk to Your Kids” from New York Magazine

Continuing On:  After completing your study, you must have some thoughts on growth mindset. Grab your journal and write everyday for a week. If you need some thought-starters, consider the following questions:

  • What is the difference between fixed mindset and growth mindset?
  • What is the difference between growth mindset and achievement?
  • What is the difference between failure and resilience?
  • What are you trying to accomplish by nurturing a growth mindset?
  • How does a growth mindset affect children? How does it affect adults?
  • Do you really believe you can change your mindset?
  • Why do you want to change your mindset?
  • Is a fixed mindset a “bad” thing?
  • Can you be successful only with a growth mindset?
